| Examination of some of these
photos will indicate the need for major
replacements of some of these sewage lines. Look
carefully for broken lines and areas which will
allow ground water to seep into the lines and
create overflow problems at the treatment plant.
As one might expect, the newer lines appear to
have fewer problem than the older lines.
South Franklin Township has taken out a loan
to begin repairs on the sewage treatment plant,
the manholes and some of the sewage lines. More
loans will be needed in the near future.
